re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

Hi Vadim,

I was trying to create a folder in a document library. Is there anyway to create a folder using Nintex workflow for Office 365.

Can you give me an idea how to get "Authorization","X-RequestDigest" to make some progress on "Call HTTP Webservice" POST method?

Hi Shaun,

I think the best place for you to get help on this one, would be to shoot an email to Nintex Support.

If I have some time, I'll play around with this, but off the to of my head, I don't know the answer to this one.

cheers,

Vadim

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

Vadim,

Thanks for the list. I do not see the query BCS action that was available in the on-site version, how would that be accomplished? Maybe using the call http web service?

Vadim,

Is there a way to automate the sharing of a site in O365 with Nintex? is there an action for that?

thanks

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

I would like to know if Nintex for Office 365 has the capability to access Active Directory via Nintex Workflow actions.  I currently use the Nintex on-premise version of Nintex, therefore I am familiar with the Nintex Workflow actions that integrate Active Directory. However, while overviewing the Nintex for Office 365 documents and manuals, these actuals do not appear to be available for Nintex Workflow.  Is there a way to integrate with Active Directory using Microsoft 365?

Hi Charlton,

AD actions should be coming out in the next few months, from what I understand.

cheers,

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

Hi Vadim,

Been following your posts for a while now! Been looking for a solution to collect data from approvers using 'Start a task process' action. My workflow requirement is that SharePoint group should have the task and anyone in it can approve it. Works great for task assignment and approval(lazy approval) enabled. But, I am not sure how to store task ID of the task and get values from approvers to save it back to the list. Can you recommend a method to get data from approvers using 'start a task process' action.

Thanks a ton! I also posted this question in connect and observed that a couple of folks had the same question. Once I figure out how to do that I can  write a post and share with our Nintex community.:)

I'm glad you found this site useful.

i've asked about the task ID question from the Product team.  So hopefully we'll get some more light on that topic soon.

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

Hello Nintex,

We are using Nintex on premise enterprise with SharePoint environment. We are planning to move from on premise to SharePoint online. Just wanted to know below action is available or not with SPOnline

"Convert Document"

Thanks,

Nikunj

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

Hi Nikunj,

not at the moment, because that action relies on Word Automation services, but that doesn't exist online.

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

Hi Nikunj,

the Document Generation action was just released for NW4O365.  It doesn't do conversion, but it lets you create a PDF based on a Word template and you can add data it from variable values.

cheers,

Vadim

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

I have SharePoint  2013 on premise, I don't seem able to select the variable type Dictionary to use with the Docusign Populate Template, is this only available with 365?

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

Hi Frances,

You are right, there's no Dictionary variable on-prem.

if I'm not mistaken, on-prem, the Populate Template action takes two collection variables.

One for the field names and one for the values.

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

Hi Vadim

What is the different between your top table (Actions Available with a Standard License) and the Office 365 Lists and Library Actions? They have different actions. There doesn't seem to be any Logic & Flow Actions or Operation Actions in the Office 365 Actions.

Thanks

Joanne

re: Nintex Workflow for Office 365 - Available Actions

Hi Joanne,

the actions in the top table appear in the app as soon as you add it to your site.

The actions under the table are ones that you have to add via the Store button in the Workflow designer.

cheers,

Vadim
